These Vintage Vibe Peterson power amp rebuild kits are fantastic!! Thanks VV for making these available to us musicians. The kits are complete with all the parts necessary to completely rebuild the power amps, and what's even better, are the new silicon power transistors to upgrade from the old germanium transistors. I was hesitant to lose my Ge transistors and replace them with Si transistors, but the tone was completely unaffected, and the clean high power is much better now than before and there is less hum. The instructions and schematics provided are easy to follow, and the colored overlay boxes on the schematic make it easy to locate the components that are being replaced. I would highly recommend the kits to anyone with a 4-pin Peterson style suitcase amplifier...they will make your Rhodes like new again!

I fixed up my amp module on my old peterson Rhodes and it is now quiet%21 It was so loud crackling most annoying sounds. Don%92t forget there are 2 Amp module so order 2 of these. Also very little as far as directions go%2C either know what you are doing or have a friend because they won%92t really offer you much help if you need it. Which I don%92t fault VV for because they are busy I am sure and these easy electrical questions take up tons of time. Thanks guys.
