Rhodes Piano Passive Electronics:
All quality parts make for smooth, quiet operation. This is the later style wiring in series for the best tone. The older original style wiring and pots are in parallel. if you have scratchy, bent, or loose ground connection, or if your piano has lost it's sparkle this is the ticket to quiet operation.
Not only does our passive wiring not attenuate as much as the parrallel configuration, it also helps to brings out sparkle and harmonics missing.
The 1 mfd cap found in the older parrallel configuration of the passive electronics in Fender Rhodes stage pianos is low pass and is killing the highs by attenuating them. This is one of the major reasons older electronics are cloudy.
