THIS PART IS USED TO ACTUALLY CONNECT YOUR SUSTAIN PEDAL TO THE 7/16TH INCH SCREW UNDERNEATH YOUR PIANO INSIDE THE HOLE THAT IS CONNECTED TO YOUR DAMPERS. WHEN YOU PRESS YOUR PEDAL THIS FERRULE PULLS ON THE SCREW AND RAISES YOUR DAMPERS.
