Piano Action Modification:

This is our "Miracle Mod" and it works miracles on your soggy, sluggish action.

This mod goes back to the principle of the 1960's fender Rhodes Pianos, not the later 1978 felt modification which does not work very well. The Difference of this mod and the felt mod is night and day.
We first installed this on a 1973 Rhodes Stage Piano with "The Worst Action in the World."

Once we installed our miracle mod and made some adjustments, it was like the skies parted and the sun just shined from above. We have never looked back, we use this mod on any older action that needs it. We get rave reviews from our customers. Most make a spectacle when they play their pianos. 

This mod will work best on older models between 1973-1977.
Earlier models from 69-72 have the Marcel pedestal and seems to be lighter, we do not mind this action, but you are welcome to use the Miracle Mod on it if you like it faster.

The miracle mod will work on any year up to 1977.

We absolutely recommend getting the complete kit for all years . The felt was on the bottom of the hammer in 76-77 era, leaving the pedestal bare wood, therefore it is up to you whether you replace the felt under the hammers to the key pedestal.

Mod comes with: Custom mod bumps, glue, and Steinway Piano Felts. Felts are not self adhesive, you must use contact cement to install them.
