The Splitman Vibe is a true stereo Tremolo pre amp. Unlike the original rhodes that takes a mono signal and splits it into stereo tremolo. The Splitman Vibe is true stereo 2 channel tremolo pre amp, with two sets of seperate volume and active tone controls. The harp gets split into two seperate harps, bass and treble this gives you true stereo.
You can make some amazing sounds with the possiblities of the Splitman Vibe. Walk bass lines with straight Rhodes sound on left hand and play pulsing stabs and chords with the right hand melody. Or pulse the bass with tremolo and keep the right hand clean for melody.
You can switch to single channel bass and treble with tremolo or without.
Use effects in your mix and the fun really begins, Phase shifter in the melody of the right hand with slow tremolo in the left with an added chorus. Or go Phase shifter tremolo in left hand bass with Delay in the right hand melody line.
The possibilities only stop with your gear and imagination.
The harp is split and wired up but with a switch goes back to a single harp.
