We have put together a pre amp upgrade kit that uses all new components as well as filtering for hiss. We offer special transistors that compliment the Hohner Clavinet D6 pre amp. We hand select our transistors personally for proper beta. We sell the same kit we use personally in our shop for rebuilding customers Hohner Clavinet pre amps. We make sure they are as quiet as can be when we upgrade.
This kit is complete with capacitors, low noise transistors as well as extra filter caps which will cut the hiss out.
Tech Notes
It is just a matter of replacing the old components with new ones and then adding for filtering hiss.
We do not offer phone tech support though, it is assumed you know what you are doing enough to handle the install. We have a Clavinet repair video that has the rebuild of the pre amp included, we suggest purchasing the video as well.
