In all seriousness,  I'm not exactly sure what kind of crazy ninja magicians you have working over there...but, the timing for this delicious work you guys did is perfect. It looks and sounds like a piece of creamy steak.



Just wanted to say thanks again for all of your fabulous products. Here is a pic of my recently completed Rhodes tolex/rehab project which was done using 100% Vintage Vibe products!

I put the Stage Vibe in yesterday evening (very late) and.... Great Preamp!!! I play my Rhodes on a vintage Fender modified (not by me!!) vibrasonic amp (without reverb and tremolo), and it sounds fantastic! Now I have enough power to send to my Fender amp, and your tremolo is great too!

Your amp and pre amp does work perfectly . The original amp didn't sound as good when it was new. Thanks for the offer to answer any questions about installation. However it went so well I didn't need any assistance. I am sure I will be back to Vintage Vibe for other needs.



I've been wanting to drop you a note of appreciation, and that recent exchange about prices at the Rhodes forum with the clueless guy gave me a little push.

 3 shows in on this current tour- the wurlitzer sounds and feels fantastic...As usual i'm carrying a nord as back- up but I'm hoping it stays in the trailer.... So far so good though...



I just wanted to say that you guys really do a fantastic job. I always get whatever parts I order from you right away. No lead time! It appears you ship it right out after you see the order. Really great service and a great resource. I am a jazz pianist in the Boston area who plays quite a lot (luckily) and a few years ago I took out my old '74 Rhodes which I've had since 1989 and just started using that again. I was becoming more and more frustrated with the digital pianos and realizing that hey, the Rhodes was all we had back then...even in the 80's really (for jazz gigs...or at least what I had) and so be it- I sold the other keyboards and now just play the Rhodes again. Anyway, the guitar player with whom I play with in a fusion group has a slightly older year Rhodes in his basement where we rehearse that I've been fixing little things here and there. You guys are a great resource and again, your customer service is really great. (I also break tines on occasion and first found you when I was looking to get some replacements a while back. Hee hee!)

Just writing to let you know the amp arrived safely, and I'm totally digging it. What a beauty. I really like the way it sounds. It's what I was wanting to get from my 1973 Deluxe Reverb (which I recently sold) but never could. A nice firm bass and some tonal balance. I believe it's trem. and reverb is nicer than the Fender too, It seems more integral, less added on. I didn't think I'd like a ceramic speaker, but I do - It sounds very good. Thanks so much. You guys were a total pleasure to deal with, and have a cool thing going on.

You're my go-to source for everything Rhodes, and you're constantly bringing out new products, replacements and innovative new mods, filling the supply gap that might be potentially crippling for folks like me who have a passion for old, brittle, mostly discontinued equipment. I just wanted to thank you for continuing to be such a reliable supplier and for putting so much effort into what you do. Couldn't do it with out you!

I live in Berlin and have a Farfisa, a Crumar and a Yamaha BK-5 Organ. I thank you for showing your repair videos, because I can learn some aspects of repairing. Here its difficult to find someone who repairs organs and even its hard to get the service manuals.

In regards to a Stage Vibe Purchase

I purchased your Stage Vibe for my Mark II a few weeks ago and I just wanted to give you some feedback. Initially I was a little ticked off about it. It doesn't exactly fit on a Mark II - there's a small gap between the top of the rail and the front lip of the top. I called and asked you guys about this and you basically said "oh yeah, it doesn't exactly fit on a Mark II." I wish you had indicated that before I purchased. However, a bit of electrical tape hides the gap pretty nicely now. As far as the Stage Vibe performance is concerned, this thing really is brilliant. The EQ options really bring out the sound of the piano nicely and eliminate the muddy tone of the original rail. And the tremolo is not only truly gorgeous, it's also an absolute dead-ringer for the original Suitcase tremolo, which is the sound you want. So, great job on the Stage Vibe. It's made my Mark II so much more enjoyable to play and sound like a real Rhodes.

In regards to a you tube video of a restoration:
Thats my piano they rebuilt- you should have seen the condition before- it was SO hammered I almost threw it in the dumpster as did the previous owner. Almost every note was unplayable and it was sort of a lumpy black finish- I let vintage vibe pick the paint job colors and i love it- these guys are amazing at restoration. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for the speedy service in getting the new Wurlitzer 200 replacement amplifier board to me. I installed it yesterday and it sounds lovely.  I particularly like the vintage vibe logo on the heat sink, neat touch.  It particularly sounds great using the output to my fender amp.  Also, the headphone output works correctly too (On my old board, the sound still came through the speakers when headphones were attached, which was always a bit strange!)
I much appreciate the efforts that you go through to help keep these fantastic instruments alive. Long live Vintage Vibe.

The action on the keys is phenomenal. I have owned quite a few Rhodes through the years and never had one with this action. Its like lightning fast. I love it and am able to play things I never could in the past!!
In all, I am extremely happy with what you were able to accomplish considering the project at hand. The band sounds better than ever and like I said before, I am able to play at speeds that are unreal with the action on this thing. Thanks so much, the customer service and turn-around time was great and you guys really made my day!

     I just harvested some Rhodes info from your site. Just wanted to say thanks for posting all of that valuable info. I have the electronics from a Suitcase Rhodes in the shop, just in the early stages of trouble shooting. I may recommend that my client ship it to you...stay tuned.

Thanks for the heads up on moving the reed forwards or backwards to bring it into pitch!
and thanks for the great youTube videos also. I was able to take an un-tuned reed and make it right with the help of your video and online manual.
Even a guitar player could do it.
and by luck when cleaning the inside - found the 2 old broken off reed ends which helped.
Now all 64 keys working, and pretty much in tune.

Dear Vintage Vibe folks, As a former professional musician I kept just for my own pleasure my Rhodes piano. Of course, one tine got broken, just in the middle of the keyboard. It took me a long time to find your service, and I finally ordered the tine together with two more for reserve. When I paid for the order I realized too late that I forgot to order the tone bar springs, but I didn't want to place another order, hoping to find one from the old tine. To my surprise the springs were included! The replacement went smoothly and now I can enjoy my beloved instrument fully again! I just wanted to pay a compliment to your excellent service, which is so unusual nowadays... (And I don't mean just the musical instruments, you know.) Congratulations also to your website, which is well arranged and contains everything one needs. Thanks again and keep up the fantastic service.
